I made this set for a few different challenges. At Magolicalicious Highlights (which I won last month- WOO HOO!! ), they are wanting to see a fall creation while incorporating a brown paper bag! How fun is that! On MY BLOG you can see I took pictures of the poor paper bag, before and after....as well as a few more detailed pics for you to look at!
For my card, I colored Tilda up & realized she needs to be sitting on something, so instead of cutting her out, I just drew a tree branch under her & added some leaves that I punched out of the brown paper bag with my MS leaf punch. I then dapped the leaves in orange, yellow, brown & green ink pads before adhering them.
I also used the brown paper bag as the backing beneath the lace ribbons as well as for the homemade flowers on both the card & tote bag in the top right corners. I used my scallop punch to punch out 3 scallops & I squished them up after spritzing them with water. I tried to place them to it looked pretty, then added a button center & stickles.
The buttons on the card & the bow in Tilda's hair allows me to enter my card in the Sir Stampalot Challenge of Autumn breezes with buttons & a bow!!
I added a little tag which is a Sentimental Sunday Freebie this week & cut out the other Tilda image and placed her on the tag. With this I can enter my card into the Magnolia Down Under Challenge of Tag it!
Card layout is from the sketch over at Creative Inspirations.
