A couple of cards

Hi all hope you're having a wonderful week so far. I wanted to post my Edwin card over here. Since poor Edwin hardly gets inked because face it we just love Tilda too much!

And also a reminder at Totally Tilda we have a fun challenge which is non-traditional Christmas Colours so no red, green or blue, I hope you'll join us!

Happy Halloween...

It seems like forever since one of us has posted here at the Steel Magnolia blog. So I thought I'd share my Halloween project with you. The web is super sparkly. I saw it at Michael's and knew immediately that Tilda would look adorable on it. I've added some spiders, a bat, a nice cheesecloth web and finished it off with some gorgeous black seam binding! Spooky! I have a few more photos here at my blog, Happy Haunting!

Pretty as a Princess...

Our theme this challenge over at Totally Tilda is Princess. You need to have a crown, princess Tilda or Princess sentiment. I was looking at Susie's diecut square one day and flipped it on its side and thought it looked like a tiara and my card transpired from there. I stamped swirls on the back in versamark and embossed in iridescent ice. The ticket stamp is from Lynne's Sentiments 4 You store. The beautiful lace was a gift from Trisha. I added Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, some shimmery ribbon and loads of pearls to finish it off.

Two cards to share...

Hi everyone, I have two Magnolia cards to share. These two are my newest. I wanted to make my cousin a card for her new baby so I used the adorable Tingla and one of Susie's gorgeous Die Cuts! I think it's kinda sweet! The other is my version of Tilda in a butterfly garden. The butterflies are cut from the dp, layered, and pearls and antennas addded. Thanks for taking a peek! Love is in the air...

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! It's freezing here around -40. I had to laugh as a friend of mine said she loves a whole bunch of -40 days because then -20 feels like +15 so true! I used some warm reds to make myself feel less cold. This is my first time using this Tilda, I've had her in my stash for ages and totally forgot about her. The shaped die is available at the Die Cut Dreams Store. If you'd like more info visit my blog here!

Air Mail...

Hi everyone.... I have an ornament to share with you today and although it looks great on a Christmas tree, it can really be hung all year round since it's not too Christmassy. I gave Tilda a good coating of Crystal effects so she is very stiff and durable. I coloured with copics and printed off the Air Mail tag. Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to scroll up and down. You can see my other creations here!
