Miss You

I got in some card making this wknd, thanks to my lovely husband who, when asked "what's for lunch?" and I'd answer "nothing"............he would head to the pantry make some soup and tuna sandwiches for the whole family; whilst I widdle away at my crafts!
God love him!! MWAH**

Another thing I wanted to share with you is the fact that I have set a new years resolution to reduce my craft spending. I asked DH how much he thought was good --he said $100.00/month! I was flabbergasted as my goal was $40.00/month. So I am settling at $60.00/month. So far this month, I am $15.00 into February!! LOL . It takes practice this 'not spending' stuff!!
Specially with the new Mags out there!

Finally I have a card in all these ramblings!
A Tilda!
At Magnolia Down Under they want to see calendars. I incorporated a couple calendar pieces from my Tim Holtz  paper pad to complete this task. I made it a "Miss You" card with a heart around a date as to when one's loved one would return (hypothetically speaking).

At Magnolia Stamp Lovers they want to see sentiments. Now I don't know if my entry will count, but I used my handy dandy sewing machine to stitch the words MISS YOU to the top left corner!

At Just Magnolia & hAnglar & stAnglar it is a My Favorite things challenge. Well, anyone who knows me knows how I LOVE my embellies, so I got alot of those on here! And Tilda. I love her too!
Hardware is from Stampin' Up Hodge Podge Hardware. Heart is from Micheals (i think)....can you see me in the heart reflection as I struggle to get the perfect pic! lol

At Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog, their blog hop challenge is too incorporate calendar pieces as well!! How rockin' is that!! Perfect timing!

Here's a few other challenges I thought I'd sink my ink into:
Let's Ink It Up- anything goes
Dutch Dare- all stitched up
Stamp Something- anything goes
Do You Stack Up- distress it
The Stampman- distress
Crafts & Me Challenge- paper tearing
