So I got my surprise Magnolia Fall Collection the other day and have been aching to ink one up, just waiting on a great sketch....and it came at Just Magnolia.
First thing I did, cuz like I said I was oober excited, was color up my image, then I had to find papers to match.Turns out they are all MISC. papers and the tag end matched them perfectly (not sure where the tag end came from, but hey, who's complaining!! ) haha.

This Edwin stamp is so versatile I can see myself using it for other occassions as well.
The Crafty Pad wants to see some distressing & I have done this with my Tim Holtz distressing tool.
At Gingerloft, they want Winter creations, so this card fits in nicely over there.
At Dutch Dare Challenge they are" tagalicious" crazy!!
And finally at Mami Doodles (until Oct 28) the challenge is to make Thanksgiving & Holiday cards & runs alongside Vera's Caring Heart Card Drive. For more information of this drive pls click the link provided.
In short, the card drive is organized to collect cards for elderly people living in care homes & assisted living complexes. This drive is inspired by Vera's mom who said, "Sometime as much as the elderly understand that it might be necessary for them to live in care center or nursing homes, it's still not an easy thing to be away from your family or being away from their home. It can be lonely and some of them might not even have anyone who would visit them. Would be nice if you can get a bunch of cards send to them".
Vera is hoping to collect cards & have them in her hand by November 15 in order to get them arranged for delivery for the appropriate holidays! She is giving away prizes, as well, for each card you send, the more times your name goes into the draw....................For more information (ie- address of how & where to send your card, what to write inside the card, inventory list of sent items, etc).......
